  • Notes 
    • Some family members have indicated James' middle name was "Fleming" and he went by "Flem." However, his WWI draft record shows "James Franklin" and most of the legal records just show James, James F. or "J.F." It is unusual that 2 sons would have the same middle name of Franklin (James and Joseph).
