Margaret A. Gerstacker
Margaret Ann Gerstacker, 79, of Glen Ellyn died Monday, Sept. 5, 2005, at the Aurora Rehabilitation Living Center. She was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Chicago.
She was a homemaker and a 1947 graduate of the University of Illinois. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed reading and loved doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by four children, Ann (husband Jerome) Green of Melbourne, Fla., Lee (wife Loa) Gerstacker of Round Rock, Texas, Lyn (husband Marc) Potts of Aurora and Beth (husband Ronald) Nordman of Fort Collins, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W.
A private graveside service and inurnment took place Thursday, Sept. 8, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Chaplain Larry Schneider officiated.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 1801 Meyers Road, Suite 100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Leonard Memorial Home in Glen Ellyn handled arrangements.
